Update - No to social media - what happened next

Update - No to social media - what happened next

On the 26th of January 2021 Language Point decided to stop using social media.

We deleted our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts (full disclosure we still use LinkedIn).

We were told 'that's utter madness, you'll lose customers, lose traffic to your website, there's a pandemic how are you going to connect to the outside world? You need Facebook, you can't do business without it!'

So, we thought we'd update you on what actually happened next:

- traffic to our site increased

- site visits were longer

- site visits resulted in more form submissions

- we regained hours of time which had been previously spent managing social media

- we live a troll free life

- we're happier
